Amethyst-thicket provides guided wilderness experiences across various Australian landscapes. Our services include:

• Professionally guided multi-day wilderness treks
• Provision of camping equipment and safety gear
• Meal preparation and water purification
• Safety management and emergency response

All services are subject to availability, weather conditions, and safety considerations.

Booking and Payment

Booking Process

When you submit a booking through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected wilderness experience. We will confirm acceptance via email, at which point a binding contract is formed.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include necessary equipment, meals, and guide services unless otherwise specified. Prices do not include personal travel to departure points or optional insurance.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required upon booking confirmation. We accept payment via methods specified during the booking process.

Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure: full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• Cancellations made 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before departure: no refund
• Cancellations due to unsafe weather or conditions initiated by us: full refund or rescheduling at no cost

Participant Responsibilities

Health and Fitness

Participants must:

• Accurately disclose fitness levels and medical conditions
• Ensure they are physically capable of completing the selected experience
• Inform us of any changes to health status before departure
• Consult healthcare providers before undertaking strenuous activities

Conduct Requirements

Participants agree to:

• Follow guide instructions regarding safety and environmental protection
• Respect other participants and maintain appropriate behavior
• Not engage in activities that endanger themselves or others
• Adhere to Leave No Trace principles
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Equipment and Preparation

Participants must bring appropriate personal clothing and items as specified in pre-departure communications. Failure to bring required items may result in exclusion from the experience without refund.

Safety and Risk Acknowledgment

Inherent Risks

Wilderness activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to:

• Physical injury from hiking, climbing, or camping activities
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions
• Encounters with wildlife
• Navigation challenges and terrain hazards
• Remote location with limited emergency access

Assumption of Risk

By participating, you acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur despite our safety measures and professional guidance.
